More Christmas!

We went to Founders Hall to see the Bearstein orchestra. It was fun to see. They sang lots of Christmas songs!

Christmas Season

It's been a busy month. We've been getting ready for Christmas and the arrival of my new baby sister. Here are some pictures from the month...
Playing dress up with mom's "princess" shoes.

Baby Libby is in here!

One final look at Baby Libby inside Mommy's tummy. One week to go!

I don't like Santa Claus, but I love candy canes!

Family picture at my school's Christmas celebration. Our class sang and rang jingle bells to "Feliz Navidad".

Christmas Tree!

We got our tree over Thanksgiving weekend. We drove all the way to the top of this mountain and picked out the perfect tree. It was pretty cold and windy so we picked our tree out quickly! I really liked seeing the "baby" trees. I helped decorate the tree when we got home. It was fun. I loved seeing all the ornaments. I confiscated some to play with. I helped mom hang garland and ornaments. While we were decorating I told Mommy "teamwork" (guess I'm watching too much of those Wonder Pets on TV!!).
I love being held by Daddy. See how high up we are?
Mommy and I posing with a "baby" tree.
What a view!

Where does this one go? I need to find the perfect spot!

I think I'll take these snowmen to play with.

Libby's Room

So looks like I'm going to be a big sister sometime this month! What a nice Christmas present for our family! I guess I really don't understand what being a big sister means, but I'll know soon enough. I know Libby is the baby's name and that she's inside Mommy's belly. Sometimes I give her belly a hug and say hi to Libby. My favorite thing is to play in her room. I love playing with the tiny diapers and burp cloths. Here are some pics of her room.

More Birthday....

So here are a few more pictures from the birthday weekend.

Modeling my coat and hat ensemble from Grandlin and PawPaw.

Opening my presents post-party with Addison. She's a professional!

Posing with my new Itty Bitty baby doll and accessories from Grandma and Grandpa B.

I've decided to call the doll Poppy. :)
I'm taking good care of her. I insisted that she go night-night in baby Libby's nursery tonight!

Happy 2nd Birthday!

It was my 2nd Birthday on Friday. It was a big celebration weekend for me! Lots of friends and fun! Here I am with Caroline. This was before school! Can you tell I'm excited to be the birthday girl!

Waiting for the guests to arrive in my party tutu!

I just love me some cupcake!

I've got my goodie bag and "goggles" on...I've got places to go!

Here's a video of everyone singing Happy Birthday to me. I was pretending to be shy, but I performed and blew out the candle!

Happy Halloweeeeen!

It was my 2nd Halloween last night. I was dressed as a ladybug! We went to the park for our neighborhood's "Trunk or Treat". I gathered some goodies for a bit, but I mostly ran around with my buddy Caroline. Then it started raining! :( We went home and I helped Mom and Daddy hand out candy to all the trick-or-treaters. I also ate my fair share of candy (my favorite was Almond Joy!). Posing in my costume! It's my model pose!
Cheese! Here I am with my neighbor Hannah (I love Hannah!).
Daddy and I with some scary teeth. Blue teeth this time! (See below for our green teeth!)
Here I am with Caroline. (Note from Mom: I took 5 pictures and couldn't get one of both of them looking at the camera...2 year olds!)

I took a picture with my buddy "Nay-Nay". She came over to see me in my costume.

Fall Festival at School

Thursday was the Fall Festival at my school. Mommy and Daddy came and played with me and my school friends. I decorated a trick-or-treat bag, helped make a scarecrow and of course ate lots of yummy food! :)
Daddy and I wearing our scary green teeth!
Posing with Hill, a friend at school.
Testing out Caroline's glasses (they were part of her Halloween costume)

Look, a cupcake! Yummy!

Golf Time!

Daddy bought me a set of golf clubs that are just my size. Here's a video of my first try.

Apple Orchard

A few weekends ago we took our 2nd annual trip to the Apple Orchard. I picked several apples all by myself and found one big apple that I munched on the whole time (I finished the whole thing!). I've grown about a foot since last year!
Here I am with Mommy and her friend Larkin...just the girls!

Cheese! Posing in the playhouse at the orchard.

Attacking the apple! Yummy!

Visit from Grandlin & Paw-Paw

Back in mid-September, Grand-Lin and Paw-Paw came to Charlotte for a few days. It was lots of fun! Here are a few pics from the visit...
Here I am with Grand-Lin on the helicopter ride. It was so fun...I went a few different times!
I went on this ride (similar to the tea-cup ride) all by myself! I was a little scared at first but once the ride started I had a blast!

My first pony ride!

Cheese! Me and Paw-Paw playing.

Weekend In Atlanta

Recently we traveled to Atlanta to visit our friends Bob, Sarah and Addison. It was a busy weekend full of lots of fun and playing. Addison and I got along really well. I had a blast playing with the doggies Stella & Stout. Stella wouldn't sit down and drink her tea at the tea parties I kept trying to have with her, but it was fun trying to chase her down. We went and saw Elmo Live and I got a big Elmo balloon. I'm looking forward to visiting them again soon!
Cheese. Addison and I posing on her rocking chair.

Addison and I are shopping for groceries at the Children's Museum.

Fishing! (also at the Children's Museum)

Playing with "Moon Sand".

My first masterpiece! Pretty talented, huh?

Playing at Addison's. I loved putting the dog in the stroller and running around the house. Addison let me borrow her tutu! ( I need to get one of my own!)

Fun with Friends

We went to uptown Charlotte today for the Blues, Brews and BBQ festival. The Zecks came with us. (They're our friends who just moved to Charlotte from Chicago.) It was fun. There were animals we could feed (even a kangaroo!), an inflatable slide, horses and food! But the highlight of the afternoon was when I took Noah and Chloe to visit the fish fountain by our church. The fish spray water at you! We had a blast and got soaked! Here are some pics of the afternoon.

Yummy! Tasting some peach ice cream. Chloe is riding in the wagon with me.

Showing off my muscles by pulling Chloe and Noah in my wagon (yes, I actually did move them!).

Here we go...playing in the fish fountains!

Look at Daddy showing off. Right after he climbed up there the security guard told him to get down. He's silly!

Excuse me, Daddy. I'm thirsty. Can I have some beer??

This is so fun!
Posed for the camera!
I like to predict when the water will shoot out. Sometimes it squirts me in the face when I'm looking in the hole. :)
