Maddie Relaxing at Home
Our first night at home was rough, but you'd never know by looking at this peaceful child!

After a long day of labor (13 hours!), Maddie finally made her way into the world at 7:51 pm on Tuesday, November 20th. She weighed in at 8 lbs. 5 oz. and measured 20 3/4 inches long.
Her head was a little cone-shaped and bruised, but otherwise she's a perfect little baby girl!
What a joy! We are so excited to have our little princess here with us!
Night Before Maddie's Arrival
We went to the Doctor on Monday and had a final appointment and ultrasound. According to the ultrasound, Maddie may weigh 8 lbs. 14 oz.!! So, Cherie is definitely going to be induced. If all goes according to plan, we will have Maddie on her due date of November 20th!
Here is Mom Behrens the night of November 19th...on the way to Presbyterian Hospital!
