The Beach - Kiawah Trip 2013

Oh the beach, the beach!  We love you so.  We had a wonderful family vacation to Kiawah Island again the last week of May.  We swam every day (we are excellent swimmers!), we went to the beach several times, played some golf and saw dolphins!  We were all sad to leave.  But there's always next year (unless we convince Mom and Dad to take us back in August before school starts!).
Maddie loves to be an artist and paint.

I love to swim.
On the Dolphin Encounters tour

I like wearing dad's sunglasses.

Look how close we were to dolphins!

I like digging on the beach.

Maddie perfected biking without training wheels and I chased her!

Scooters on a bridge are fun.

Having some ginger ale and pretzels and waiting for sunset (we weren't patient enough once we ran out of pretzels)

Family love!

Mom made us stop on the way out of Kiawah to see the "Angel Tree". It was pretty cool.

Bummer.  They wouldn't let us climb on the tree.

Here I am next to a big branch.

I Love Daisy Dance

We love dancing.  In fact when we're not at dance class we're dancing around the house to classical music in what we've been calling our "Expressive Dancing".  We just had our dance recital at school.  Libby did a ballet dance to a Tinkerbelle song.  And I did a tap dance to "Sugar Pie Honey Bunch".  I think we did a great job!!
Here's my dance class...the big girls !

Here's Libby's class...the little girls!

I was front and center...I really knew my dance (and loved being in the spotlight!).

Libby is a great ballerina.  But she needs to learn to smile!

We were super excited about the balloons and flowers Grandma Nancy and Grandpa brought us!

TK Graduation

In May, I graduated from the TK class at St. Johns.  That means that in a few months I'll be a Kindergartner at Eastover Elementary!  I'm super excited about Kindergarten, but I'll miss my good friends at preschool.  (I've been there since I was in the Toddler classroom!)

Ms. Sue is my teacher.  I'll miss her too!

After Graduation a sno-cone truck pulled up!  I discovered I didn't like sno-cones so Mom took me for ice cream instead!
