Holiday time

We love the holidays. We have lots of traditions...writing to Santa, visiting Santa, going to see the Nutcracker, going to see Christmas lights in our PJs and more!  Here are some pictures Mom took of our holiday traditions!

Libby's letter to Santa.

A picture Maddie drew at school.  Ho ho ho!

Nutcracker with our friends.

Trip to the mall to mail our letter to Santa and sit on his lap.  First year Libby didn't cry!

Going to see the "Singing Bears" in uptown Charlotte.

Singing at church for an Advent mass.  (Check out Libby's "Rapunzel" heels).

Libby's 4th Birthday

It's birthday season at the Behrens!  My birthday is one month and one day after Maddie's.  I turned 4 this year.  Mom says she can't believe it.  For my birthday this year I wanted a sleepover party.  Mom said my friends were too little to spend the night so we had a pretend sleepover.  My besties came over in their nightgowns and we did sleepover stuff.  Painted nails, ate pizza, played watched a movie and had doughnuts. It was such a fun time!  Happy birthday to me!
Birthday morning doughnuts (red velvet...yummy!)

Maddie's Party: Spa and Cupcakes!

For my 6th birthday party I requested a spa party.  So I invited all of my friends and we went to the nail place.  They painted all our fingernails and toenails and Mom gave us all fun tattoos.  Then we went next door to the bakery and celebrated with cupcakes.  Yummo!

Ms. Tina painting my toes.  I chose red glitter polish.

Libby got her nails done too!
