Lake house fun

We bought into a lake house with some friends a few months ago. We are making it look all pretty in the inside.  So while it's under construction we go check up on it and Libby and I play in the water and on our little beach. I can't wait for Spring. I'm going to go fishing all the time.  Here are some pictures of us playing on the lake!

Rolling a log on the beach. (Why not play on the beach in cowboy boots and sunglasses?!)

I love the lake!

I never stop working...always building something!

Snow Day - Round 2

It's Feb 13th and the snow is falling for day number 3.  Mom and Dad keep talking about inches...something like 6 and counting.  So I guess that's a lot of snow. Especially for Charlotte.  We built a giant snowman on Day 1, went sledding on Day 2 and are trying not to go stir-crazy on Day 3.  We're baking and watching lots of TV by the fire.  Looks like school will be closed the rest of the week!!

Our giant sized snowman!

Snow Day - Round 1

On Jan 29th, we got SNOW!  We were out of school for two days. The hill alongside our house was a big neighborhood sled party.  Our friends Hadley and Sutton came over and sled with us.  After we had our fill of snow we watched lots of Barbie movies snuggled up by the fire.  It was a fun snow break!

Sledding collision.

Christmas Morning!

Better late than never with a bunch of updates. The most important is our Christmas morning.  We had a wonderful morning full of presents and playing.

Christmas Eve Mass - Libs not feeling so well. :(

Where's Maddie?  Children's Choir Picture ... we didn't get our usual front row seat.

We must have been good. Santa left us lots!

Maddie's favorite gift...her fishing pole!

Libby's favorite gift...her karaoke machine.

Cookies and Eggnog for Santa.  He liked it...yum!

Mermaids in a "sea" of presents.
