Happy Mardi Gras!

On Friday, Mom got a king cake from Randazzo's to share with our friends at school. I explained to my class about the baby being hidden inside (and was quite distraught when I didn't get the baby...my friend Cara did!). Mom got all of her Mardi Gras bling out for us to wear to school. It was a special day!

We barely had any leftover after sharing it with our friends, but Mom made sure she and Dad got a piece. Next year we may have to get a bigger cake!

Oh I love to scoot and I love to run!

Mom is taking these photography lessons so she constantly has Maddie and I outside so she can practice. Sometimes we tell her to "put your camera down"! But sometimes we run and play and don't even notice. Maddie is always on her scooter. She scoots around the house and around the neighborhood. I prefer to be on foot. I love to run...
