First Day of Preschool - 2012

We're practically experts at this first day of school thing.  I'm in the TK class with Ms. Sue (lots of my friends went to Kindergarten, but I get to play at preschool one more year. Yea!).  Libby is in Ms. Dana's 2 year old class.  (I had Ms. Dana too...she's going to have lots of fun!)  We got new backpacks and lunchboxes and shoes.  All very exciting!  So far, the year is off to a great start!!

I finished my 2nd triathlon last weekend. This year I was TOUGH (and very excited about it!) I  didn't want to be beaten. I raced my heart out. Libby couldn't do it...she's not old enough yet, but she was a really good cheerleader.

I couldn't race this year, but the nice lady gave me a number.  It's my age.  I'm "2 and half"!

Soccer

Mom signed us up for Soccer for the summer.  Yea, it's pretty hot outside, but we have fun anyway!   Here are some pictures of this week's practice.

DALLAS!

We went with Mom to Dallas in June to visit Grandlin & Paw-Paw.  (Sorry for the delay...Mom had to figure out how to upload her phone pictures!)  We had a great time!  We helped with Baby Jack's shower (the cake was yummy!), swam everyday, saw the movie "Brave", went to American Girl store and ate lots of good food !  Here are some pics of our adventure!

Summer Fun

Oh it's been a hot summer! We've been busy....swimming, soccer, gymnastics.  Whew!  It's hard to keep up with us, much less for Mom to find time to take pictures.  But she does bring that big ol' camera out sometimes.  Here are some of the latest and greatest ...

Beach Trip 2012

Sorry for not writing sooner.  This summer is off to a busy start.  We started it with a trip to Kiawah Island with our neighbors and friends Suzy, JP, Hannah and Claire.  I was so excited about the beach trip.  I even had a countdown!  It was all I hoped for and more.  I collected buckets of seashells, built sandcastles, went swimming every day and even saw some animals (butterflies, deer, alligators, a snake, turtles and dolphins).  I was sad to leave.  But not as sad as Libby was (when we pulled in the driveway after our trip, Libby burst into tears crying that we were not at the right house...she wanted to go to our big house on the beach.)  I'm sure we'll be back again soon!

I was the best seashell collector on the beach.  I still have buckets of them at home.  I even painted some!

I signed the crew up for a "Butterfly Walk".  We didn't see too much but it was fun to go exploring.  We were like Dora!

We went on a beach walk with our butterfly guide and he told us these were called "Ice Cream Cone" worms.  I remembered the name (wonder why!?).  

I noticed this snake under one of the bridges and our guide caught it!  He was not happy and kept hissing at us!

Mom and Dad got dressed up for dinner one night.  I stayed up a little later than the rest of the kids and got to take this picture.  Fun!

Mom took us on a walk to see the dolphins.  Libby slept  in mom's arms while we walked (I think  it was a little further than mom thought it would be b/c we walked FOREVER).  We saw a few dolphins but Libs and I had fun running around.
